As time goes by I hope to share recipes and other things of interest with you. At this time I'm just getting everything gathered ..... collecting my thoughts ..... and starting this new chapter in life after spending many years in a different space and time. No, it wasn't from another world. Just a different one. More about that later.
Here's one of my recipes for you to try:
FLORENTINE CRESCENTS
32 Servings
Ingredients:
10 ounce pkg. chopped frozen spinach
1/2 pound Velveeta Cheese,cubed
1/4 cup dry bread crumbs
3 slices crisp fried bacon, crumbled
2 - 8 ounce cans crescent rolls
1 egg, slightly beaten
Directions: Thaw and drain spinach. Combine spinach, cheese, and crumbled bacon in saucepan and cook over low heat until cheese is melted. Separate dough into sixteen triangles and cut each in half lengthwise. Spread a rounded teaspoonful of cheese mixture on each and roll up. Place on a greased cookie sheet. Brush dough with the beaten egg. Bake at 375 degrees for 12 minutes or until golden brown. Serve warm.
